Commission info

So I need money because school's starting again. With my job, I've got enough money for tuition and probably rent, but nothing else. XD Therefore, in the interest of me being able to eat sometimes I am opening pony commissions! The way these are going to work is that there will be a base price, then for 'extras' I will add more to the charge.

I don't charge extra for cutie marks (that would be ridiculous xD), but I reserve the right to simplify them if they're super detailed. Cause hey, if I have to make super thin lines I go in with an embroidery needle to make them and those needles don't hold paint very well and then it just turns out splotchy and bad.

Alicorns (example: zaphy1415926.deviantart.com/ar… )

Alicorns are made on a brushable base. They stand about 3" tall at the tip of the ears. I can make them simple unicorn, pegasus, or earth ponies, just keep in mind the proportions are going to be the same- so the wings will be large and the legs will be long. I can replace the long horn with a shorter one, though. The base price stays the same for all four types of pony.

If you're not such a fan of brushable ponies, I can make molded hair for you no problem- the pricing for hair will stay the same, though.

Base price (solid color body paint, single hair color): $35

Hair: $2 for each additional color

Sculpted accessories: $0 - $40 depending on complexity. Simple things like nose mods for stallions are free of charge. And don't worry, that upper estimate is just in case anyone asks for a Photo Finish, or a Gala dress, or something similar. Pony clothes scare me... but if you pay me enough, I'll make them.

Paint: $0 to $10 per additional color depending on complexity. For example, I wouldn't charge for Luna's eyeshadow or Applejack's freckles, even though those technically make two body colors. Those are simple, small markings and aren't a problem. But I'd charge a full $10 extra for a Zecora, even though she also only has two body colors.

Regular ponies (example: zaphy1415926.deviantart.com/ar… )

Regular pegasus ponies are only available with folded wings at this time. Regular ponies can NOT be made brushable. They are molded hair ONLY. Regular size ponies stand about 2 1/4" tall. Be warned, this style of pony is cheaper, but the base is flawed (hence why it is so less expensive than the larger base). I will try my best to smooth out all the lumps and bumps, but you must be aware that some will remain. EVENTUALLY ONCE SCHOOL IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE I WILL MAKE A BETTER MOLD OF THIS YOU GUYS.

Base price (again, solid color body paint, single hair color): $20

So here's an example, just in case it's confusing. Say you were to commission a copy of the Luna I made. $35 base + 2 additional hair colors (she has four total, but I wouldn't charge for the sparkle since I used so little)=$39. Add in her crown, necklace, and boots and I'd put that at $45. But, say you were to commission a naked Luna with a flat blue mane and tail (or a flat blue with a little sparkle thrown in). She would stay at the base price, $35.

Anyway, I hope those examples make the way I'm pricing these a little clearer! And hopefully if you're looking to buy, it'll give you an idea of how much it'll cost. Any questions, ask. If you ask for an OC I will require payment before I begin, otherwise you will be charged after I complete your custom but before I ship it.
